Privacy Policy
StealthLogger has no servers, no analytics, and no third-party SDKs. It doesn't have a network connection at all. Everything below describes data that stays on your iPhone, in the app's own sandboxed storage, until you delete it.

What's collected
- Gyro & accel data
- Sampled at 100 Hz only while a session is running. Written to a local
.gcsvfile. Never transmitted anywhere. - Video files
- Read from your Photo Library only when you pick clips to embed gyro data into. Copied locally for processing; StealthLogger doesn't retain a copy beyond what you save to Encoded Media.
- File timestamps
- Creation dates of your own gyro logs and encoded clips, read to sort and group them into Today/Past sections. Used for display only — never sent off-device.
- Location (optional)
- Off by default. If you turn on "Record location trail" in the About tab, a coarse GPS point is captured roughly every 20 seconds during a session — including in the background — so you can see where a clip was shot. Stored locally alongside the gyro log. Never transmitted.
How it's used
Matching gyro logs to video clips by timestamp so they can be embedded together as a CAMM track; sorting your own files by date in the Gyro Logs and Encoded Media tabs; tagging a session with where it was filmed, if you've turned that on.
Third-party sharing
None. StealthLogger has no network connectivity, no analytics, no third-party SDKs, and no servers. Nothing you record ever leaves your device unless you explicitly share a file yourself — the Share sheet, AirDrop, or your own iCloud/Files setup.
Retention & deletion
Files live in the app's local storage until you delete them or delete the app. Swipe-to-delete on a log or clip removes it (and its location trail, if any) immediately — there's no account and no server-side copy, so there's nothing else to request deletion of. Deleting the app removes everything else at once.
